Abstract
This article examines angelic order, the rebellion of the Watchers, forbidden knowledge, evil spirits, divine judgement, and cosmic restoration in 1 Enoch. It also considers the preservation and scriptural reception of 1 Enoch within Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Christianity.
